Hello there! I’m Marisa (Ma-REE-sa), and I’m so glad you stopped by.
I’m a certified KonMari Consultant®, and I love decluttering and organizing spaces through this method. I have found through my own practice that letting go of items that don’t serve you truly opens you up to a lovely balance of both peace and possibility. Turns out, when you’re not bogged down by stuff, you can actually think and feel and do more freely and intentionally. How great is that?​

To share a bit about myself, I’m a brand experience designer turned patient experience expert turned healthcare performance improvement leader. What I love about my career is that it combines methodical approaches to problem solving with a deep infusion of empathy to create beneficial and even beautiful solutions for the end user.
Becoming a KonMari Consultant has been a lovely culmination of my passion to help, design and execute, resulting in a delightful, tailored, and of course, tidied experience for my clients.​​

FAQs
As a professional Lifestyle Consultant, asking the right questions is very important. Below you will find a compilation of the most common questions I’ve been asked about the services I provide. What are the sessions like?
Sessions are usually 3 hours or 5 hours. Depending on what category of items we’re tidying, we’ll make sure we gather and review each item, and then find a simple and organized way to store those things that spark joy for you. A few hours may seem like a long time, but they go by very quickly! I will be your guide through the entire session, teaching you how to identify those things you want to keep, let go of those you don’t and easily store everything so you can replicate it after our tidying time together.
Can you tidy for my whole family?
It is recommended to have one-on-one sessions with individual family members in order to carefully review one person’s belongings at a time and set the course for their ideal future. I’d be happy to go through a tidying festival with each member of your family and would welcome parental input for the kiddos.
How should I prepare for my session?
Get a good night’s rest the night before, have a good breakfast or meal before the session and be sure to keep yourself hydrated.
Have garbage bags or boxes on-hand to use for any items that no longer spark joy.
This time is about you and your joy sparking journey, so it is recommended to limit distractions and get excited for what’s to come.
Do I have to be there during the session?
Yes! This tidying journey is about you and your items, so think of the sessions as one-on-one consultations. You will learn not only how to fold and store your items, but also about emotional connections, what items are holding you back and what items spark joy for you.
How do I know what sparks joy?
You will pick up and hold each item to determine if it sparks joy. You will likely recognize some type of feeling about it (good, bad or indifferent), but I can help you in this area if you have trouble or doubt.
What should I do with items that no longer spark joy?
Items that no longer serve you can be donated, sold or discarded – always with gratitude. Depending on the item, we can determine the best course of action.
